Grandmaster Liu Chao Chi, the senior master of the Tien Shan Pai kung fu sect in North America, was born and educated in Taiwan, Republic of China. For more than 20 years he was a student and teaching assistant of Wang Chun Jen, the 63rd generational Tien Shan Pai Grandmaster. In 1978 Sifu Liu founded the Wah Shing Kung Fu School in Washington D. C.'s Chinatown, which he still maintains.
